<b>The Domaine Mazilly Père & Fils has belonged to the same family for four generations. Today, the estate is run by Frédéric & Aymeric, the son and grandson of Pierre Mazilly. The winery buildings are situated at Meloisey, a small wine-making village in the Côte de Beaune district, a few kilometres from Pommard.
The 15-hectare estate is mainly situated in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, but some of the parcels are found in the renowned appellations of Gevrey-Chambertin, Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Pommard 1er Cru, Volnay and Meursault.

<h3>VINE GROWERS</h3><br>
<b>Frédéric Mazilly is an exemplary producer who consistently makes delicious, fruity red wines with a well-controlled woodiness. Every year, he scoops up numerous medals and accolades (notably in the “Guide Hachette”).
Frédéric is the president of the “Union des Vignerons de Côte d'Or”, which has 1,200 members. He also belongs to the “Cousinerie de Bourgogne”, a confrérie that welcomes guests in the best traditions of Burgundian hospitality and helps to promote the wines of Burgundy, and those of Savigny in particular.
His father, Pierre Mazilly, was deemed worthy of belonging to the prestigious “Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin", in recognition of his good work.
<br>
<h3>WINE MAKING</h3><br>
<b>The red wines undergo a long period of maceration, resulting in full-bodied fruity wines with tannins that are present but not austere. They are aged for between twelve and eighteen months in oak barriques or foudres.
The white wines are vinified and aged in oak barrels (20% of which are new) for 12 months.
